"Designed to fit..."

The French word ‘textile’ and the Italian word ‘tela’, both of them are coming from a Latin verb originally, ‘texere’, which means knit and weave. The ‘textile’ is standing for ‘weaving / fabric’ in French and the ‘tela’ is meaning ‘loosely woven fabric’ in Italian. The word of ‘tela’ had been used in Anatolia with different forms in the past but we may say that it is still alive in Anatolian local dialects. This word had been transferred into our language, in Ottoman age, through the cloth traders who are coming from Italian city-states. By getting prefixes, such as ‘-mu, -mı’, this had been transformed into ‘mutel, mıtel, mitel’ with the time.

Interlining is the one of the hidden strengths in apparel manufacturing, it is an interlayer which is an invisible support behind the garments. Depending on the individual application, it supports textile processing, enhance the garments’ functionality and also give them the stability they need. We may call it as ‘framework’.

If we classify interlinings roughly, we may mention 3 main group; knitted, woven, nonwoven.

Basically, interlining has 2 main part: Coating (chemicals for cloth covering) and Cloth (surface to which coating has been applied). We may customize all products through the different chemicals; fusing temperature, strength for high temperature or enzyme wash can be changed according to the requirements. There could be different color options for interlining such as optic white, ecru, black, etc.

Our products that have been produced with the state of the art technology are easily applicable, resistant to washing and care and provide perfect shape to garments. We are providing tailor-made and flexible solutions. Our main focus is meeting our customer requirements. This is our solution-based approach…
